Auckland’s adored DnB maverick BRIGSY opens the doorway to his next EP, ‘Controlled Chaos,’ with a brand new single, ‘Falling.’
‘Falling‘ sees the Next Level Production co-founder link up with the prowess of UK-born and New Zealand-bred vocalist-songwriter NÜ to carve out a rollicking drum & bass cut.
Opening with burning atmospheric tones and deep bass rumbles, ‘Falling’ rapidly unleashes equal parts of high-octane mayhem and melodic calm. NÜ’s pristine voice soothingly blankets the utter ruckus of wavy synths, roaring DnB hues, and jump up vigor as the track maintains a steady groove with bursts of rave-ready intensity.

‘Falling’ received airtime on the Kiwi weekly morning radio show, George FM Breakfast, with BRIGSY making an appearance for its premiere. Next in line for the DJ/producer is ‘New Energy,’ featuring singer Indy Skies, scheduled for a June 5 release.
BRIGSY has also sparked a free-to-enter ‘Falling’ remix competition with his Next Level Production crew. A six-week timeline is set, with the best two remixes earning a pitch for an official release and more prizes in store.
Regarding the EP’s tracks and collaborations, BRIGSY wrote on social media, “Each track blends melody with chaos, a reflection of the harmonious relationship between female vocal top lines & hard-hitting drum & bass instrumentals.”
