Deadmau5 has shared a teaser for his new survival co-op game, ‘Trail & Error.’ The game will see one to four players work in tandem to cross a terrain and reach the end by overcoming hurdles, including harsh weather, maintaining and utilizing your supplies wisely, pushing through disasters, and surviving the chaos to complete the journey and reach the finish line in one piece.

This is the second project from Oberhasli Studios, co-founded by Joel Thomas Zimmerman AKA deadmau5. He first launched a ragdoll-style game, ‘Meowingtons Simulator,’ last year. deadmau5’s entry into the gaming world was a tribute to his late cat, who passed away in August 2023.
‘Trail & Error’ will be in early access for six months to a year. “Balance, difficulty, pacing, and the overall “fun chaos” of a run are things that are best refined with a real community playing together. Early Access allows us to iterate alongside players, improve the core experience, and shape the game based on how people actually play it with friends,” states Oberha5li Studios on Steam.
On the music front, deadmau5 released the track ‘Science’ featuring British singer-songwriter Stevie Appleton in February and shared the Westend Remix of ‘Animal Rights’ with California-born DJ/producer Wolfgang Gartner in March.
