Adrift Open Air 2023
Sales for this event are closed.
17th - 19th November 2023, Te Arai, New Zealand
Adrift is back, a more intimate adventure. Let's drift off to the most treasured spot in Aotearoa, the beloved Te Arai event site. Once aboard, our crew will be turning on the sweet soundwaves of only the finest bass, Liquid D&B, House, Downtempo and Melodic tunes that the spring seas have to offer.
Adrift has been created to showcase local talent and bring people together to share the love through music, art, performance, food, sustainability and most of all dancing. So be prepared to dance, create, smile, feel free, take your shoes off and chill-out at the beach in the sunshine.

ZONES
We're all hoping for blue skies and sunshine this year. We've got two plans in place depending on the weather forecast, just in case.
Sunshine - Humming Hut lake stage, pontoons, boats, kayaks and all the good things will be out and about. The beach will be ready for sun bathing and relaxing.
Rain & wind - Shipwrecked stage under the boat with added shade wings, stretch tents and lots of fun. If you know you know!
DRINKS & FOOD
We will be serving a good range of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks as well as free drinking water. We will have you covered, so please leave your booze at home and bring a reusable water bottle instead! To ensure everyone’s safety please only use reusable plastic or metal bottles. This means in short: NO BYO and NO GLASS.
We will also have food vendors on site to suit almost all your dietary desires. You’re welcome to bring your own camping kitchen set up too, but please be aware of open flames.
MONEY
Our bar will accept cash and eftpos, food vendors will be cash only. Please be aware that the eftpos can be intermittent, so make sure you bring some emergency cash.
PHONES
This is a private space and we would like everyone to enjoy the vibe in real time and so please keep your phone and camera in your pocket, at camp or safely locked in a vehicle.
Be aware that phone reception is very limited on site, if available at all. Please let your friends and family know where you are before entering the site.
WASTE
This is a Leave No Trace Event. We are committed to becoming a zero waste event. We use our stainless steel cups with a deposit system for all bars to minimize the waste produced from our end.
Please help us and pack accordingly: no single use plastic, pack your snacks in reusable containers before leaving, bring a rubbish bag for your camp site, take everything home that you brought and don’t forget a water bottle to fill up from our filtered fresh water taps. Please do not bring any glass on site.
WEATHER
This is an all weather event. Please make sure you are prepared and pack your sunnies but also rain coat, gum boots and extra pegs & ropes to secure your camp in windy conditions.
