Document One (AKA Joe and Matt) originally from Oxford, UK, are firmly cemented on the international drum & bass circuit. They've had countless high ranking releases across multiple accomplished labels, and continue to extensively tour worldwide (42 countries and counting), as they have for the past decade.

By 2018 the duo had been on Friction’s radar for some time as he frequently aired their exclusives, as well as having them on for interviews and guest mixes on his flagship BBC 'The Radio 1 Drum & Bass Show'. It was that year that he signed them to Shogun Audio. As their sound developed, they needed a home to showcase their high-octane club orientated releases, and launched on Shogun Audio’s sister-label Elevate Records in 2021. SInce then Document One have racked up over 10 million streams a year on Spotify, and have frequent support UKF, BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra, and DJs such as Sub Focus, Dimension, Koven, Noisia, and Rene LaVice.

Document One continue to release and cultivate their sound of drum & bass within the Elevate Records camp, each release heading straight for renowned packed out venues, and festivals around the world. Their recent releases on Elevate Records, features vocalists such as Doktor, Duskee, A Little Sound, and Emily Makis. This year sees more global touring, and more huge releases - including collaborations with artists at the top of the drum & bass scene.  Their Montreal debut will be a night you will tell your friends about...
