Tulum ha desempeñado un papel importante en la creación de esta película aclamada por la crítica y seleccionada elegible para los Óscar (2023). ¡No es solo un estreno, sino un regreso a casa! Nuestra productora, Mariana Treviño, y el actor Jake Stafford consideran a Tulum como su hogar, y nuestro director, Waheed AlQawasmi, encontró consuelo e inspiración en esta vibrante comunidad.

JACIR es una experiencia cinematográfica que te llevará en un viaje por la dividida sociedad Estadounidense a través de los ojos de un refugiado sirio. Protagonizada por la nominada al Premio de la Academia Lorraine Bracco (conocida por sus icónicos papeles en "Goodfellas" y "The Sopranos") junto al talentoso debutante libanés Malek Rahbani. Una pelicula que explora las complejidades de la conexión humana, los sueños y la superación de la adversidad.

Calling all cinema lovers in Tulum! 🌴🎥 On May 31st, we will have the Mexican premiere of the film JACIR at the intimate and stunning Foro Hydra! 🎞️✨

Tulum has played an important role in the creation of this cricitally acclaimed and Oscar elegible Film (2023). It's not just a premiere, but a homecoming! Our producer, Mariana Treviño, and actor Jake Stafford consider Tulum their home, and our director, Waheed AlQawasmi, found solace and inspiration in this vibrant community.

 JACIR is a cinematic experience that takes you on a journey through the divided American society, seen through the eyes of a Syrian refugee. Starring Academy Award® nominee Lorraine Bracco (known for her iconic roles in "Goodfellas" and "The Sopranos") alongside the talented Lebanese newcomer Malek Rahbani. It's a film that explores the complexities of human connection, dreams, and overcoming adversity.
