Matariki Ahunga Nui Matariki Kanohi Iti was created in 2013 to not only support the development of Matariki celebrations within Waikato but to support our local Kōhanga Reo, Ngā Kuaka and local kura, Tōku Māpihi Maurea.

This event includes a three-course menu incorporating traditional Māori ingredients, LIVE entertainment from a variety of artists, a Matariki Runway show providing local designers a platform to showcase their creations and a space for Pakihi Māori to display and sell their products. 

This year, Matariki Ahunga Nui Matariki Kanohi Iti celebrates its 10 year anniversary and Tōku Māpihi Maurea is celebrating its 30 year anniversary.

We invite you to join us as we reflect on our journey, acknowledge our community whilst reconnecting with whānau members past and present through music and kai. 

**To celebrate these special anniversaries we are offering a 'one time' special rate until 16th July. Thereafter, tickets will be full price**
