MEET THE ALL ROUNDERS WITH MICHAEL HARWOOD AND CHARLIE ARME

Charlie Arme started his career in the music industry while studying at LIPA in 2007. During his studies he began working as an A&R scout for Relentless Records and would go on to work for Virgin Records where he scouted and signed the massively successful rock act You Me At Six. Charlie then moved to Warner Bros and discovered and co-managed the BRIT Award winning band, Bastille. Alongside Michael Harwood, he started Tileyard Music in 2012 and they've gone from strength to strength. His current clients include Ella Eyre and Sigala and the company has enjoyed over 1.5 billion Spotify streams to date.

Michael’s background is originally as a songwriter and producer. He has written and produced for artists as diverse as Kygo, Ella Eyre, Natasha Bedingfield, Kylie Minogue and Bryan Adams, scoring 3 UK top 10 singles and selling over 7 million records worldwide. More recently, Michael has co-written the Kygo track ‘Stole The Show’ which has now gone platinum and gold in 9 territories. As a partner of Tileyard Music, Michael heads the management and publishing company along with Charlie Arme and also overseas the full creative/studio team on a day-to-day basis.
