SICKNOTE [Toronto/UK]

A prominent figure in the drum and bass world since 2009, Sicknote is renowned for his
dynamic DJ skills across 4 decks and international presence. Known for electrifying
shows and chart-topping releases, Sicknote has a keen ability to connect with his fans.
His performances are a blend of energy and rhythm that resonate with a global
audience.
Sicknote first came to global attention at the age of just 22 when he was recruited by
drum and bass icon Shabba D to be the DJ for his crew “Higher Level”, this brought
many years of success for Sicknote before eventually parting ways with the crew to find
his own identity.
The years that followed were filled with regular appearances at legendary events such
as Innovation, Breaking Science and Random Concept to name a few before moving on
to cement his journey as a global touring DJ, he is now a regular feature on the
longest-running world tour in drum and bass history (The World of Drum & Bass)
In more recent times Sicknote launched his own label (Toxic Inc Audio) teaming up with
good friend and booking agent Chris Harris (Erbalist). In just a short space of time, the
label has hit the ground running featuring releases from jump up wonderkid
Dreadnaught, Playaz and Smokin Riddims Jaydan and of course his own releases.
Sicknote's most recent release “Everything You Say” has been destroying dancefloors
everywhere. It is a perfect follow-up to his monster collaboration with the legendary DJ
SS “Can’t Help Myself” Both are absolute smashers and have had huge support from the
drum and bass world. With his previous releases "Ellie/Lights Go Down" and his
“Sleeping Pills E.P” Sicknote’s catalogue of tunes is top-notch. With a collab in the works
with The Prototypes and a new release forthcoming on Benny V’s label, Roadbloack,
things don’t look to be slowing down anytime soon for Sicknote.
