Songs of The Sea
Arrrrrr ye looking for a high seas adventure?
Then look no further.
Fantasy bards Fae as Folk are celebrating folklore’s fascination with the deep blue sea. We’re bringing together three amazing acts, along with live magic, a craft market, and a touch of faerie mayhem.
We will be taking over Dalton’s, an accessible venue right on Brighton Beach, and transforming it into a mythic pirate tavern where the grog flows freely, sirens sing, and dead men tell their tales.
Here you may chance upon mysterious traders selling enchanted trinkets, or a marauding magician moving through the crowds. Prepare to tap your tankards and shiver your timbers to a trio of acts worthy of Neptune’s court:
Cabaret star and violinist Frankie Heartless, performing folk favourites and singalong shanties.
Foot-stomping phenomenoms The Bedford Celts, keeping you jigging to Celtic folk and Americana.
Siren songs and ripping yarns from your hosts Fae as Folk, spiriting you across the waves with ethereal harmonies and earthy instrumentation.
Come dressed in your finest ocean-inspired outfit, whether ye be a pirate captain, a saucy siren, or the kraken itself.
A prize will be given to our favourite costume of the night, so don’t hold back!
