Rare Specimens are rolling into town for one night of unfiltered dance floor mischief for the Whåkatu massive.

After two years treading the boards at clubs and festivals around the motu, the four headed monster of Everybody (Dan Rainey), Nick Munday, OCDJ (Matt McPhee) and Pete Green have honed their charismatic four-deck style into a seamless blend of Disco, Italo, Acid, House, Techno, Balearic and Psychedelia  — all delivered with tasteful authority and unparalleled energy.

This one's extra special. We’re returning to the now iconic Deville to celebrate Rare Specimens' double AA side Paranoid Tarras / Acid Underground, which also marks the the first official release on Tempo Schmempo. After many years of building behind the scenes, we're about to go live. It’s a big moment, and we’re excited to share it with you. 

We're also very excited to welcome local legends B-Lo, Grant Smithies & Fam for an exclusive B2B2B - three exemplary tastemakers in their own right, joining forces to set the dancefloor up for success, as only they can. 

Expect extended sets, unexpected gems, and the special kind of silliness that only a Tempo Schmempo party can offer.
