Epoch
Epoch is a Christchurch-based bass producer and DJ specialising in - as Australian label Modern Hypnosis describes as: “somewhat twisted, hip-hop and grime pervaded, sound system-driven, low end focused, UK inspired club music.”

After receiving early support from Rinse.fm stalwarts Dusk & Blackdown, and US Dubstep ambassador DJ Joe Nice, the Gourmet Beats show staple 'Attraction' saw a seminal 12” release on Innamind Recordings sub-label IMX.

Following this well-received release was a string of Innamind-adjacent projects, including his 2015 album 'Badminded' on Blacklist, a 12” release with Modern Hypnosis, and an appearance on legendary compilation series 'Tempa Allstars Vol. 8' with his production 'The Ville'.

2022 has been a banner-year for Epoch, seeing releases on VIVEK's System Music (with his infamous remix of Headland's 'Garbo'), Alix Perez's 1985 imprint, and Sicaria Sound's cutcross, as well as embarking on a US tour with label-mates Boofy and Kursk.

He has played across the UK, US, and Australia. Blending a range of 140, Grime, Hip Hop, Drill and Soul, Epoch presents his broad musical influences at the forefront of his DJ sets.
