White Hot: The Rise and Fall of Abercrombie & Fitch – April 19
The documentary that Netflix offers its audience this week is – âWhite Hot: The Rise and Fall of Abercrombie & Fitchâ. Abercrombie and Fitch conquered malls in the late ’90s and early ’00s with gorgeous models, pulsing dance beats and a fierce scent and all the cool kids were wearing it,â states Netflix. This documentary explores A&Fâs pop culture reign in the late â90s and early 2000s, how it thrived on exclusion but their “all-American” image shattered as exclusionary marketing and hiring practices came to light.

Russian Doll (Season 2) – April 20
Emmy-nominated actress Natasha Lyonne takes on the role of Nadia in Netflixâs âRussian Dollâ. In this comedy-drama series, she plays a young woman, who is on a journey to be the guest of honor at a party in New York City but she gets caught in a mysterious loop.
Nadia repeatedly attends the same event. She dies at the end of the night each time. However, she awakens the next day unharmed as if nothing had happened in this show co-created by Lyonne and “Saturday Night Live” alum Amy Poehler. Natasha also serves as a writer and director for the Netflix original series. The second season of the show premieres on Netflix on April 20.

âYakamoz S-245â follows a marine biologist on a submarine research mission who, after a disaster strikes Earth, must fight to survive with the crew as a conspiracy comes to light. The series launches on Netflix on April 20.

The upcoming Netflix series âHeâs Expectingâ is a comedy-drama set in a world where cisgender men can get pregnant. It also addresses the issues women face regularly. One such man is a successful ad executive, Kentaro Hiyama. Hiyama, whoâs got it all figured out, becomes pregnant. Then the ad executive is forced to confront social inequities he had never considered before. âHeâs Expectingâ is streaming on Netflix from April 21 onwards.
