Martin Garrix Confirms That He Is Collaborating With Marvel

In a recent interview, Martin Garrix revealed that he is working with Marvel. “I was at Marvel this morning, and I did something for a new video game they’re launching,” the Dutch star said. There is a new video game in the works at the billion-dollar company. “There’s all these projects in the works at the same time, which I’m very excited about.” 

The ‘In the Name of Love’ hitmaker said he would like to “focus more on producing for movies and series, like scoring.”

Throughout 2022, Martin Garrix has rolled out singles including ‘Follow’ with Zedd, ‘Reboot’, ‘Good Morning’, and ‘Funk’. Last month alone, the influential dance music producer played at Formula 1 Mexico, Escape Halloween, Amsterdam Music Festival, and OMNIA nightclub, including shows in Toronto and Seoul. This year the 26-year-old is the world’s no.1 DJ in DJ Mag’s top 100 DJ’s poll.

Nero to Reunite to Perform Live at Red Rocks 

Nero will reunite as a trio and take the Red Rocks Amphitheatre stage on November 4 and 5 as special guests at electronic music producer deadmau5’s ‘We Are Friends Tour’. The British electronic music trio consisting of members Joe Ray, Alana Watson, and Dan Stephens will reunite with vocalist Watson at Red Rocks for their first performance in five years. 

The group recently shared their remix for Joel Thomas Zimmerman AKA Deadmau5’s track ‘XYZ’. American DJ Kaskade will also be performing at Red Rocks! Deadmau5 kicked off his ‘We Are Friends’ tour in Philadelphia on July 15. His last stop is at MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston on December 16.  

New Documentary Tracing the Evolution of UK Garage to Release Next Month

A new documentary titled ‘25 Years of UK Garage’ will be available on digital platforms on December 5. It is about the history of the UK Garage scene and how it evolved. The 85-minute documentary features some of UK Garage’s influential figures including Scott Garcia, Dane Bowers, Lisa Maffia, So Solid Crew, Ms. Dynamite, MC Creed, Pay As You Go Cartel, Heartless Crew, Majestic, Megaman, MC Bushkin, Pied Pier, among others.

‘25 Years Of UK Garage’, produced by Platinum Pictures, will also include footage of English television and radio personality Ian Wright, and feature actor Richie Campbell. It will also include an appearance from boxer Anthony Joshua. This documentary has been directed by Richard Turner and Terry Stone.

Creamfields Vietnam Unveils Phase 1 Lineup Headlined by Hardwell

Hardwell has been announced as the headliner at Creamfields Vietnam set to take place at Grand World, Phu Quoc next month. Hong Kong, Taiwan, mainland China, and Thailand have hosted the Asia editions of Creamfields.  

Pink Panda, Tim Hox, Slushii, and Beauz are slated to take the Creamfields Vietnam stage alongside the ‘Spaceman’ artist. Vietnamese talents in the phase 1 lineup include FungFung, Monotape, DSmall, Teddy Doox, Juno, NgoKien, Mike Hao, T-Bangerz, and more. Phase 2 lineup of Creamfields Vietnam will be announced soon!

Hardwell released his fourteen-track new album ‘REBELS NEVER DIE’ in September this year. The Dutch DJ kicked off his ‘REBELS NEVER DIE’ tour in March 2022 in Miami. For his upcoming shows, he will stop in cities including Doha, Bangkok, Hamburg, and more.

Flume Joins Forces With Soundwaves to Support Charitable Organization Children in Conflict

Flume is joining forces with Soundwaves Art Foundation, who translated the soundwaves of Flume’s biggest hit ‘Never Be like You’ into a unique print. His song ‘Never Be Like You’ with Kai came out in 2016 and has surpassed 656 million streams on Spotify. It has now been remixed into a piece of art by the Soundwaves Art Foundation. 

Soundwaves teams up with musicians to make these pieces. The artists they work with select a charitable organization like Flume chose Children in Conflict for his collection. 100% of the profits from the art pieces sold go to these charitable organizations.

Children in Conflict helps children around the world who are affected by war and conflict. Australian music producer Harley Edward Streten AKA Flume’s collection features original, 100 copies of the autographed print of the soundwave art. It also includes signed, and 200 copies of the unsigned prints of the original.
