Mía Restaurant & Beach Club closed 2022 with a bang after lending its dais to some of the biggest names in electronic music. From veteran DJ Paul van Dyk to rising DJ/producer Miss Monique, Mia has welcomed its guests with an experience of a lifetime with impeccable music, ambiance and gastronomy.
For 2023, the coconut palms and white sands of Mía Tulum will open their gates to yet another musical year! We’ve compiled a list of upcoming events at the beach club that you can attend this month. Jan 2 – BORDERS OF LIGHT
Record label Borders of Light hosted a one-of-a-kind Tulum-style party to kick off the new year! The live ‘multi-sensory sound experience’ had Greek DJ Echonomist get behind the decks in Mia as part of his ongoing ‘The Americas’ tour. Italian DJ/producer Toto Chiavetta, Trikk, and Golden Hour completed the line-up for the night, which ran from 2 PM to 1 AM.

Jan 3 – STIL VOR TALENT – OLIVER KOLETZK
Stil Vor Talent threw an outlandish session at Mia Tulum with a star-studded line-up from their roster. The bill was headed by German music producer and founder of Stil Vor Talent, Oliver Koletzki. He hit the road in 2022 and played some iconic venues around the world, including Public Works (San Francisco), Roxy Theater (LA), House of Yes (New York), and The Key Club (Paris), before 2023 got going. Koletzki was joined by Stil Vor Talent’s Hidden Empire, Berlin-based DJ/producer Cioz and multi-instrumentalist Skala.

Jan 4 and 5 – Mystical Sunset with Âme
Tulum’s Mystical Experiences begins 2023 with a special 3-hour set with Innervisions heads Âme on January 4 from 2 PM to 12 AM. The event boasts an impressive line-up featuring Argentine DJs Last Men On Earth (Eugenio Pérez and Sebastián Passo), DJ/promoter Lagunes Jr, Mystical Experiences’ co-owners Valderrama and NUUP, and resident Kevin Ganora. Headliners Âme will rev up the night from 8 PM to 11 PM. Tier 2 and Final Tier tickets are still available for sale!

Jan 5 – NIC FANCIULLI
Grammy Award nominee Nic Fanciulli returns to Tulum for a banging performance at Mía Restaurant & Beach Club on January 5, 2023. Fresh off his second NYC residency, the UK-based DJ/producer will grace the deck at Mía between 2 PM to 12 PM, alongside an announced line-up of artists. Tier 1 and Special Pass tickets are still up for grabs!

Jan 6 – THE SOUNDGARDEN – NICK WARREN
After closing out 2022 with remarkable feats, record label and events company The Soundgarden lines up a stellar bill in Tulum for the new year! Featuring The Soundgarden’s co-owner and DJ Nick Warren, the night will also see performances from music producer and live performer Rodriquez Jr., Stil Vor Talent’s Elif, and DJ Dastan.

Jan 8 – MULTINOTES
Record label Multinotes sails to Tulum after gracing Istanbul, Turkey, London, Barcelona, Italy, Moscow, and more with its incredible roster of artists. Italian DJ Dodi Palese, Sicilian DJ/producer Phunkadelica, Multinotes’ very own Lehar and DJ CIPY from Barcelona will deliver a 10-hour performance from the shores of Tulum. The quartet had previously played together at Multinotes’ showcase in Barcelona, along with Echonomist, Stereocalypse and Denis Horvat in 2022.

Jan 9 – ATLANT presents JOHN DIGWEED, BOg, MARK HOFFEN
British progressive house DJ/producer John Digweed sets off the new year with a short tour across Mexico & Argentina in January 2023. He will make his first stop in Tulum for a unique sonic concord presented by record label Atlant. Digweed will be joined by Atlant owner BOg and DJ Mark Hoffen.

Jan 10 – MISS MONIQUE
Amassing fans left, right and center due to her ever-powerful progressive house and rhythmic techno tunes, Ukrainian DJ Miss Monique will take charge at Mia in Tulum on January 10. She will be supported by DJ/producer Dorian Craft from Cannes for the long musical night.

Jan 11 – Mystical Sunset with Anja Schneider
Returning to Mia with yet another spectacle, Mystical Experiences presents the internationally acclaimed DJ/radio broadcaster Anja Schneider. “Certainly a landmark in the scene that will take us on an incredible musical journey!” wrote Mystical Experiences while announcing the jaw-dropping line-up. It features Colombian duo Ten Systems, Tulum frequenter Tori Seagel, DJ/Producer Ivo RGDZ, and Mystical Experiences’ co-owner NUUP.

Jan 12 – MAGDALENA – EAGLES AND BUTTERFLIES – ROY ROSENFELD
Following an NYE 2023 bash at PSY-TECH INDIA in Goa, globally renowned German DJ Magdalena will stop by at Mia before performing in New York, Los Angeles, São Paulo, and Itajai as part of her ongoing tour spanning December 2022 and January. Joining her as the headliner is LA-based producer Eagles & Butterflies, who last performed at Mia less than a month ago. Rounding out the line-up as the supporting act is Israeli progressive house DJ/producer Roy Rosenfeld. The night will run on from 2 PM to 1 AM.

Jan 13 – RATED R – DUBFIRE – REBOLLEDO
Rated R returns with its 2023 edition of Costa Futurista, an event known to exhibit ‘violent rhythms, dirty dancing, some nudity and sexuality.’ DJ/producer Rebolledo and DJ/Mia’s manager Neo Human will join the line-up yet again, this time with Grammy Award-winning producer Dubfire! Holder and Kawas will also lend their tunes to this party.

Jan 14 – Monkey Project Tulum
Electronic music events and record label Monkey Project brings a slew of acclaimed artists to Tulum! Berlin-based Jan Blomqvist will head the night with a live set, followed by a spectacular b2b from Tulum regulars Echonomist and Jenia Tarsol. DJ duo Chambord round outs the bill for this eclectic gig. This event is strictly for ages 18+.

Jan 15 – ANCESTRAL SOUL – GIOLI & ASSIA -ELKE KLEIJN – @MIA TULUM
Italian multi-faceted duo, Gioli & Assia, mark January 2023’s halfway point alongside Dutch dance music DJ/producer, Elke Kleijn, at Mia Tulum. Promising “special elements of mapping, performance and body painting” across a 10-hour-long party, ANCESTRAL SOUL will begin at 2 PM, and will also host three more exciting artists. On the roster alongside Gioli & Assia and Kleijn are Colombian DJ/producer Queen Rami, house music DJ/producers Aradya and Lagunes JR.

Jan 17 – BNP OPEN LIFE – HERNAN CATTANEO
Argentina-born progressive house DJ/producer Hernan Cattaneo will head this BnP Open Life party, with more artists to be announced. Boasting an illustrious three-decades-long career, Cattaneo is a powerhouse in the electronic music scene, one that should not be missed live. Having been on DJ Mag’s Top 100 list twice, with major performances across globally renowned festivals, the record label owner will return to Mia Tulum following his November 2 appearance for a night of only the best of progressive house music. The event kicks off at 2 PM and closes at 12 AM.

Jan 20 – MACCABI HOUSE – ADAM TEN – MITA GAMI – YAMAGUCCI
Tel-Aviv’s electronic music brand Maccabi House will present their first 2023 event at Mia, Tulum, at the end of this month! Israeli musician Adam Ten, also the founder of Maccabi House, will lead the gig with his versatile sounds. Psychedelic House producer Mita Gami and DJ/performer Yamagucci will conclude the rhythmic night by the beach.
