Chicago-born house and techno DJ Lee Foss teams up with SPNCR and Awsumo for ‘We So Future,’ marking his return to his Repopulate Mars imprint.
Launching labels, sub-labels and a plethora of music in his long-standing career of over two decades, DJ/producer Lee Foss has been consistently making waves in the electronic music realm with his diverse catalog. After churning out hits like ‘My Humps,’ ‘Tuko Tuko,’ and ‘Free’ last year, Lee Foss serves his latest tune, ‘We So Future,’ on Repopulate Mars label.
With its ‘attitude-filled vocals, old-school rave stabs and raw drums,’ Lee’s first offering on the label since last August exhibits the dichotomous range of the track. Suited for a dripping indoor showdown as well as a party under the glistening sun, ‘We So Future’ is a testament to Repopulate Mars’ power-packed future releases.
“’We So Future’ is about the creative and artistic spark that sizzles down in Miami and the feeling that you get vibing with your friends there,” said Lee in a statement about his new song. “Hot Natured was born from the very human connections and electricity in the air there, and I thought it was fitting that the lead single for my album Reflections would celebrate that.”
DJ/producer Awsumo and hip hop/house/pop producer SPNCR joined Lee to produce ‘We So Future.’ While the latest song marks Awsumo’s debut on Repopulate Mars, SPNCR and Lee are known to frequently work together, having collaborated on ‘Trap Money,’ ‘Dusk Til Dawn,’ ‘Crawl,’ and more.
