One of techno music’s best-selling artists and the mind behind a string of hits such as ‘Mercury,’ ‘Gravity’ and ‘Copper,’ French techno artist Space 92 whips out a hair-raising remix of Carl Cox, Reinier Zonneveld, and Christopher Coe’s dance floor anthem ‘Inferno.’ Since its release in May 2023, the track has received over 70 thousand listens on Spotify and amassed over eight thousand views on YouTube.
Techno wizard Mathieu Mourareau, best known as Space 92’s, latest remix ‘Inferno’ is rigged with dance-heavy rip-roaring sounds, thumping basslines, and graciously woven synths. The music stretches out for six minutes and incorporates Space 92’s distinctive trancey techno, distorted percussions, and underlinings of acid relays.

Speaking on his latest release, the visionary French producer remarks, “Working on Inferno was such a pleasant challenge because my goal was to never release the pressure and intensity of this fantastic track while consistently respecting Noughties Techno’s influences.” The remix also received an avalanche of praise on social media with techno-great Juliet Fox even stating, “I might have played this at Awakenings today,” referring to her opening performance on the main stage at Awakenings Spring Festival 2023.
‘Inferno’ is out now via producer Reinier Zonneveld’s Filth On Acid record label. The label bills the tune as an “intense one-tracker EP that takes techno to outer space dimensions with a pulsing bassline and otherworldly synth sounds!” Space 92 has dominated stages at the Ultra Festival in Miami, Peru, and Brazil. Coupled with this release, the artist is also currently on an extensive world tour with shows lined up until July 2023.
