Aitor Etxebarria, who goes by the stage name El_Txef_A, is an artist from Bilbao offering high-quality music and aims to make a sound that people can both “identify” and “simply enjoy.” He has had releases on Mule Electronic, London-based label Hypercolour Records, Wazi Wazi, Munich’s Permanent Vacation, and Berlin-based record label Suol. El_Txef_A has taken his music far and wide, by traveling and performing across Europe and America.

He has showcased his incredible skills at supreme venues, including Oval Space in London, Module – a riverside nightclub in Berlin – Watergate, and Nitsa Barcelona. El_Txef_A also boasts an album ‘Slow Dancing In A Burning Room’ under his belt.
The Basque Country-based independent composer and programmer has also composed the soundtrack for the Netflix series ‘Intimidad.’
Papaya Playa Project’s resident DJ Rosano will join El_Txef_A at Astrobeat on July 8. He has previously shared this Tulum venue’s stage with Roman Flügel, British DJ/producer and musician Bonobo, Carlita x DJ Tennis (Astra Club), Moodymann, and Swiss DJ/producer Jimi Jules, among many other
