Solomun is en route to Tulum in 2024! Tehmplo Tulum is gearing up to welcome the Bosnian-German DJ to the club in Mexico on Tuesday, January 2, 2024! Solomun’s return to Tulum was announced back in August. “Ten years ago I played in Tulum for the very first time. A place that’s different by so many measures, with a very special energy. It seemed like everyone who came there was in on a secret,” wrote Solomun in a post shared on Instagram. “And after a hiatus of a couple years, I feel the time to return. Tehmplo, an incredible location in the jungle and simultaneously close to the ocean is the place. Hope to see you on January 2nd, back in Tulum!”
In the coming weeks, he will be taking his dancefloor-rattling DJ sets to Riyadh, Dubai, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles before making his way to Tulum for his first show of 2024. The four-time DJ Awards winner is among the founders of the underground electronic music label Diynamic in 2006.
The Bosnian-German has had gigs in Miami, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Milan, Argentina, Brussels, and more cities and countries in 2023, while also displaying his musical talent in Los Angeles, Berlin, Portugal, New York, Dubai, Medellin, Paris, and Romania. Mladen Solomun AKA Solomun returned to Ibiza with his iconic Solomun+1 residency at Pacha Ibiza every Sunday from May 28 to October 15. He was also on the line-up of renowned music festivals such as Ocaso (Costa Rica), MELT (Germany), Sónar (Barcelona), Horse Park (Zurich), Dour (Belgium), and Panorama Music Festival.
He has been on a roll when it comes to sharing remixes in 2023, having rolled out six remixes: Muse’s ‘Euphoria,’ ‘Nsera’ by Fatoumata Diawara and Damon Albarn, Novaa and LIE NING’s ‘Novaacation,’ ‘Forever’ from Weval, Allan Shotter’s ‘Cassini’ and the latest ‘Something On My Mind’ feat. Nothing But Thieves from German disco and house music producer Purple Disco Machine and English DJ/producer Duke Dumont.
