Dua Lipa’s third studio album ‘Radical Optimism’ will hit the streaming platforms on May 3. Having scored top 10 Billboard Hot 100 tracks with ‘New Rules,’ ‘Cold Heart (PNAU Remix),’ ‘Dance The Night,’ and ‘Levitating,’ Dua has a list of memorable tunes ever since her career kicked off in music.
Speaking about the album’s artwork, where Dua is seen in an ocean with a shark fin before her, “I feel like this screams radical optimism to me. Just being in this setting, being very calm in the moment… I’m in deep waters, I’m in with a shark and I’m remaining calm and collected throughout. That is radical optimism to me. I think everything about this record has been [about]being in the chaos and remaining grounded throughout. When I saw it, when all the pictures were printed out, this was it. This was my first instinct. This is radical optimism to me,” she told Variety. The three-time Grammy-winning singer-songwriter has already rolled out two singles – ‘Houdini’ and ‘Training Season,’ off the eleven-track record.

Zayn – ‘Room Under the Stairs’
Zayn’s fourth studio album is officially on the way! Releasing on May 17, Malik’s first album with Mercury Records is titled ‘Room Under the Stairs.’ Nashville-based Grammy award-winning producer Dave Cobb and singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton co-produced ZAYN’s follow-up record to the 2021 album ‘Nobody is Listening.’
Zayn rolled out a new track ‘What I Am’ from his upcoming album this March, accompanied by a lyric video. He has yet to reveal the album’s tracklist and has not shared a music video for the song. “I think the intention behind this album fully is for the listener to get you know more insight on me personally as a human being. My ambitions, my fears, and for them to have a connection with that. And that’s why it’s so raw, you know?” Zayn shared in a new video on Instagram after clearing out all his previous posts. “There’s just me writing this. I didn’t want anyone else to be in between me and the music, and the music and the people listening to it,” he added.
Beyoncé – ‘Cowboy Carter’
Beyoncé’s highly anticipated follow-up to her 2022 album ‘RENAISSANCE’ came out last week! To usher in the new era, Bey dropped the tracks ‘16 CARRIAGES’ and chart-topper ‘TEXAS HOLD ‘EM’ in February.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of the supporters of TEXAS HOLD ‘EM and 16 CARRIAGES. I feel honored to be the first Black woman with the number one single on the Hot Country Songs chart. That would not have happened without the outpouring of support from each and every one of you. My hope is that years from now, the mention of an artist’s race, as it relates to releasing genres of music, will be irrelevant,” Beyoncé shared on Instagram while announcing her new record.
“This album has been over five years in the making. It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed…and it was very clear that I wasn’t. But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of Country music and studied our rich musical archive. It feels good to see how music can unite so many people around the world, while also amplifying the voices of some of the people who have dedicated so much of their lives educating on our musical history.”
The ‘CUFF IT’ singer concluded the statement, saying: “I hope that you can hear my heart and soul, and all the love and passion that I poured into every detail and every sound. I focused on this album as a continuation of RENAISSANCE…I hope this music is an experience, creating another journey where you can close your eyes, start from the beginning and never stop. This ain’t a Country album. This is a “Beyoncé” album. This is act ii COWBOY CARTER, and I am proud to share it with y’all!”
j-hope – ‘HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1’
‘HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1’ is a six-track mini-album from j-hope of BTS that was released on March 29. Packed with a “diverse array of sounds and moods that showcase j-hope’s musical prowess and depth,” the album also features a number of collaborations with artists such as Jung Kook of BTS, Nile Rodgers, benny blanco, Huh Yunjin of LE SSERAFIM and more.
