From tropical beach setups to parties raging into the early hours of day one, here is a country-wise look at a selection of NYE 2025 events drawing in partygoers from far and near.

Mexico

March on to the land of Mayan culture, beautiful natural cenotes, and gorgeous beachfront avenues in Mexico, where the party never stops. At the gastronomic nightlife hub Vagalume, where the rhythm of the Caribbean encounters the soul of electronic music, the Temple Of The New Sun New Year’s Eve celebration awaits. The evening begins with culinary delights courtesy of chefs Adriana Resinas Hernández and Marco Estrada, and further heats up with DJ sets from duo Âme, Echonomist, Trikk and Vgalume co-founder Vite.

Nearby, the cenote club Vesica in Tulum presents The Ritual of New Beginnings, a walk-through culinary journey inspired by elements of fire, sea, earth, air, and the cosmos. A progressive DJ line-up for the evening features Francisco Allendes, Rameff B2B NYTO, and Joel Kim.

Also in the vicinity, Tulum’s award-winning Papaya Playa Project hosts producer-singer Jan Blomqvist, deep house meets techno act Acid Pauli, tropical house act Sabo, and more for their New Year’s Eve Celebration.

On Mexico’s west coast, in Puerto Vallarta, the jungle cove paradise buzzes with a Majahuitas New Year’s Eve beach party dubbed as “wild, free, and unforgettable.” House duo Tom & Collins, Nagib & Jackson, and local hotshot Liam Fitzgerald are on the bill for this spectacle.

Puerto Escondido’s Sin Censura NYE makes its grand return for its fifth series, furnished with four stages dedicated to house, disco, techno, minimal, and reggaeton music, alongside live performances, art installations, a pool party, a food court, and local market stalls. The full line-up is yet to be revealed, but you can expect some heavy hitters from each genre.

New Zealand

Festival chaos ignites New Zealand’s North and South Islands as Aotearoa’s most electrifying year-end and New Year’s festivals surge into overdrive. From multi-day showcases to countdowns beneath open skies, festival grounds across the islands are primed for revelers to welcome 2026 in full force.

Travelling from the North to the South, the newly revamped two-day Northern Bass JNGL 25 takes over Kaiwaka from December 30 onwards. Alix Perez, Pendulum (DJ Set), Paige Julia, and The Upbeats are some of the heavyweights on the line-up. At Tech Park, Ngawaro, a starlit dance floor becomes a two-day cosmic gateway for Euphoria Until Sunrise. Bolstered with two stages and a zero-waste and leave-no-trace ethos, the event plays out from December 30 until the early hours of January 1. Leksay, Jaydo, Orithev, Takydon, Nimrod, Euphoria, Haylien, Felipe Cataldo, DAV, Leviathan and more join the artist card. Hours away, Waiohika Estate unleashes the 23rd season of Rhythm & Vines, a three-day blowout featuring Wilkinson, Montell2099, Notion, Lee Mvtthews, Sota, plus several other artists.

From Upper Takaka comes the five-day shindig Twisted Frequency, hailed as “Aotearao’s annual home of underground music & culture.” A true melting pot of genres, the event pairs music with other experiences, including art installations, fire-and-flow performers, yoga sessions, workshops, and talks with industry experts. The line-up features a mix of international and local acts, including Om Unit, Grouch, Isaac Chambers & Dub Princess, Clova, and Simiantics, among others.

Shining bright in its new Christchurch home at 240 Lower Styx Road, Bottle Lake, the three-day multi-genre bash, Rolling Meadows, rounds up over sixty artists, including headliners rapper Aitch, drum & bass powerhouse K Motionz, and Grammy Award-winning R&B sensation JOJO.

Heading further south to Wanaka is Rhythm and Alps, celebrating fifteen years of creating festive memories this year. Its five stages – Alpine Arena, Jeff, Log Cabin, Crystal Palace, and Camp Stage – burst to life with over 50 acts, including Dizzee Rascal, Rudimental, Santigold, SYNTHONY, P.Digsss, Nice Girl, Deep Notion, Beccie B, Badger, and duo Bad Birds.

United Kingdom

Weeks before marking new territory in Thailand, DnB AllStars will treat UK ravers to a massive New Year’s Eve takeover with a trifecta of events across England. The independent drum & bass mainstay will throw a 12-hour DnB onslaught in London, while Birmingham and Bristol carry the celebrations well into the first morning of 2025. At the time of writing, venue details and line-ups are yet to be disclosed.

Also arising from central Bristol is the second volume of Moon Festival, brought to life by promoters Invicta Audio, Rumble In The Jungle, and Bris-Tek. Held at the Sawmills, a one-time lumber facility restored into a multi-space warehouse, the event card boasts over 70 artists sprawled across five stages, namely New Moon, Eclipse, Black Hole, Hyperspace, and Full Moon. Window Kid, Diagnostix, 1991, Hang The DJs, Primate B2B T-Lex, P Money & Napes, Skantia B2B Particle, and the winner of the ongoing Moon Festival’s DJ Competition are among the names plastered on the card. Beyond the music, attendees can enjoy a variety of activities, including face painting, fancy dress competition, photo board, a hyperspace tunnel, etc.

London’s legendary dance music venue, Ministry of Sound, is ringing in the New Year party, patched with an onslaught of garage, Afrobeat, dancehall, R&B, hip-hop, tech-house, house, and disco across its four chambers. The line-up puffs out a debut performance from Girls Don’t Sync at The Box arena, winged by Paul Woolford, Emerald, and PRESTi. MOS Ministry of Sound’s 103: Jam House is plugged with acts Djammin, Omari, Ossie, and Meeshy, while The Loft sees the arrival of Ittman Presents: Talk Nice Sounds. Baby Box welcomes in deck wizards Joe NBO and Travis Casa.

Over in Brighton next, Volks Nightclub on Madeira Drive and their in-house promotion team, BASS KONNECTION, cobble a 12-hour NYE rave marathon. Kicking off at 10 PM and running until 10 AM on New Year’s Day, drum & bass chieftains Optical, Workforce, and Kleu lead the charge. The supporting cast includes Ben Agro, Jungalice, and Energy, among others.

USA

Electronic dance music event titans Global Dance and AEG Presents Rocky Mountains plate up a massive two-day dance escapade with its Decadence NYE at the Colorado Convention Center. The first evening, December 30, shoots out an exclusive back-to-back-to-back set from Zeds Dead, Subtronics, and Tape B. On December 31, the roster expands with Illenium B2B Excision, FISHER, Gareth Emery, Jade Cicada, Kaskade, Louis The Child, Netsky, Of The Trees, Wooli, and ZEDD.

Meanwhile, at RelentlessBeat’s Decadence Arizona, taking place on December 30 and 31 and themed “The Portal of Illusions,” lights up Phoenix Raceway with a line-up that shines with Chase & Status, Green Velvet, GRiZ, Ky William, Odd Mob, PHRVA, Prunk, SG Lewis,Carrie Keller, Deathbeat, and Michael Hooker, to name a few.

Turning to Downtown LA, the Los Angeles Convention Center opens its doors to the eleventh edition of Insomniac’s Countdown NYE 2025, an all-night rager from 7 PM until 5 AM. Locked in are John Summit, Above & Beyond, and Pryda (Eric Prydz’s other alias), Hedex, Madeon, SLANDER, Sub Focus, Crankdat, Wuki, Kobosil, Cera Khin, and plenty more.

Staying in LA at the DTLA warehouse, DISLABEL NYE brings together “friends, art, food, games, and performances” to close 2025. While the line-up is not yet unveiled, expect a fierce showcase from founder and junglist Jessica Freed, best known as WHYS.

Denver, Colorado’s hive for underground music, The Black Box, is gearing up to premiere DJ/producer and dub sound innovator The Widdler’s new live concept, Midnight Mass. This offering leans into deep, minimal, 140, dubstep and a spread of bass-heavy lashing. The Black Box’s resident Sub. Mission DJs and dubstep aficionado Athena shape the supporting card.

In Texas, the huge Dallas Market Hall rolls out the red carpet for a multi-day NYE takeover with Lights All Night, packed with three stages and top-tier production. On The Metroplex Stage, electronic artists Hamdi, Sara Landry, Mau P, and Porter Robinson command the decks, while the Disco Rodeo stage pins Ayybo, Green Velvet, Gudfella, Jackie Hollander, and Chris Lorenzo B2B Matroda with more names in the mix. The Lone Star stage is fitted with 33 Below, Wreckno, Nikita The Wicked, Skellytn, and Freddy Tood, just to name a handful.

India

A fixture of India’s EDM scene, Sunburn continues to draw some of the most charismatic DJs and producers from around the world to the Indian subcontinent, and their upcoming NYE concert follows suit. Returning with his signature brand of melodic techno and progressive house is Agry on a three-city jaunt across the country. After barraging arenas in Delhi and Goa, Agry closes out the year in Bengaluru at Bhartiya Mall of Bengaluru with his special ‘New World’ audiovisual production.

London’s independent record label Anjunadeep heads to India’s nightlife hotspot, Goa, for Anjunadeep Open Air. This New Year’s Eve show will unfold at Thalassa Beach Resort, and at the time of writing, the full line-up is yet to be announced.
