DJ Wattsson
Wattsson brings a signature blend of lush grooves, hypnotic synths, and authentic artistry—a journey celebrated at NZ’s biggest festivals. Immerse yourself in music carefully curated for connection and joy.
DJ Cyril Orson
Cyril Orson has been shaping underground house and techno for decades, from France to his long-time home in Auckland.
A festival favourite and club mainstay, he’s played alongside some of the biggest names and collaborated as part of COMMUNICATE, TTOTO, and Triangle & TDA. He’s also the driving force behind iconic nights Sonik Tonik and Ooh La La, and co-runs the new label XCOMMUNICATE.
Cyril played alongside Wattsson at the inaugural Local Motion back in 2021, and now returns with the boundary-pushing sound that’s made him one of NZ’s most respected underground DJs. He is the perfect DJ to join us in delivering the unique Local Motion sound.
|| Ticket Info ||
If you are in the position to pay a little bit extra, you can purchase a "Work Hard, Play Hard" or "House Music Hero" ticket instead of General Admission. If you do, you will be directly supporting the electronic music industry in New Zealand and increasing the chances that promoters like us can continue to run events like Local Motion. It is currently very hard to sustain an underground events company like this, with very low success rates, so we are giving our more affluent patrons the opportunity to change this trend and bring direct joy to the community. We will keep you updated on the impact these donations are having over time.
