The last hours before dawn are the most important of the year. How do you want to spend your last moments of 2022? What do you want to attract in 2023? Sommo is the perfect place to say goodbye to an old year, and invite a new one. Our New Year's Eve dinner offers a 5-course menu by our chef Joel Trejo, as well as immersive music that creates a perfect environment to accompany the food and the delicious cocktails that we have specially selected for you.
Sommo is all about the building of a family and infusing a sense of community in our people. We want New Years to be homelike, personal. We’ll count the final seconds of 2022 together during a special New Year’s Eve ceremony, and we’ll kick off the new year cycle of 2023 with an unforgettable music journey by Resident Ter Co + special guests.

Sommo is located in La Punta, Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca. Known by it's romantic and mysterious vibe, Sommo is gifted with native plants that wrap around an imposing cement structure that's balanced out with our straw and wooden set up. Our chef has more than 30 years of experience in the Japanese cuisine, and our staff is extremely qualified, making the whole experience one of the highest ranked in La Punta.
