Lightning in a Bottle Reveals Stellar Line-up for 2023 Edition

Do LaB’s Lightning in a Bottle will observe its 20th anniversary from May 24-29, 2023, with a tremendous line-up that boasts heavyweights REZZ, BLOND: ISH, ZHU, The Glitch Mob, Sofi Tukker, Diplo, Major League DJz, and more!

This 20th anniversary edition of Lightning in a Bottle (LIB) will be strung out over five days, stemming from Buena Vista Lake in Kern County, California. Apart from music, the festival will also be loaded with art, yoga, educational talks, discussions, workshops, camping, and more! LIB has earned various awards and accolades during its tenure as one of the pioneers of sustainability and environmental measures at music festivals, including a streak at the A Greener Festival Awards. Tickets for the 2023 edition were available for purchase as early as November 17, 2022.

LIB 2023 will unfurl across numerous stages at the site, which includes the Lightning, Thunder, and Woogie stages. The Lightning Stage will see the likes of Canadian DJ and record producer REZZ (Isabelle Rezazadeh), New York-based house duo Sophie Tukker (Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halper), Sad Night Dynamite (Josh Greacen and Archie Blagden), Zambian singer, rapper and songwriter Sampa the Great (Sampa Tembo) and amapiano sensation Uncle Waffles (Lungelihle Zwane).

Leading the charge at the Thunder stage are Los Angeles producer and Young Art Label head honcho TOKiMONSTA (Jennifer Lee), electronic music trio The Glitch Mob, LSDREAM, downtempo, dubstep, brostep maestro Liquid Stranger (Martin Stääf), The Polish Ambassador (David Sugalski) and rapper/producer Wreckno.

The Woogie stage, packed with techno and house artists, will welcome DJ duo Tale Of Us (Carmine Conte and Matteo Milleri), Diplo, Ben Böhmer, BLOND: ISH, African dance music greats Major League DJz, composer and multi-instrumentalist Giorgia Angiuliand electronic music producer and DJ Zach Walker.

Walker expressed excitement about performing at LIB 2023 on Instagram, saying, “So incredibly excited to celebrate 20 years of LIB! My first year in attendance was 2010 in Silverado and it’s always a pleasure to be invited back to play on one of my favorite stages on the planet – The Woogie!!!”

Compass Music and The Stacks will each present a curated line-up of artists, creators, multi-instrumentalists, and performers that have been a part of the two-decade-long adventure. It will highlight speakers, painters, professors, creators, and performance artists, in addition to musicians and DJs.
