Simina Grigoriu & Felix Kröcher Drop A V/A EP

One of Techno music’s shining contemporary stars has teamed up with Felix Kröcher for Rave The Planet’s Supporter series.

Romanian-born, Toronto-bred Simina Grigoriu’s trajectory as one of Techno music’s finest names has been fascinating to witness. Embodying Techno’s piercing schematics coupled with her trademark spaced-out style of productions, Simina Grigoriu has built a nice roster that is exclusive to her style of productions.

With a career spanning over a decade, Simina Grigoriu has released her forward-thinking material on some of the most respected imprints in Techno before starting her own label called Kuukou Records. Simina’s supreme quality in the studio is complimented equally behind the decks, which has seen her perform at venues and festivals across Europe and beyond.

Simina kicked off her 2023 discography with a string of masterful techno cuts for the likes of Dolma Records, Kaligo Records and her own Kuukou Records. For her latest release, Simina has now teamed up with Felix Kröcher and non-profit organization Rave The Planet to deliver a captivating techno hit for their Supporter Series.

Rave The Planet: Supporter Series Vol. 014 is the latest release in the organization’s saga and is offered up as a two-tracker, featuring Simina Grigoriu’s ‘Give Me A Voice’ and Felix Kröcher’s ‘Communication.’ The project is dedicated to the spirit and culture of electronic dance music and welcomes an array of artists, ravers and entrepreneurs from across the industry to contribute to the advancement of the scene through positive and sustainable means.

Felix’s ‘Communication’ opens the EP with a high-energy production packed with progressive arpeggios and dramatic bass synths, which mark another hypnotic opus for his illustrious back catalog. While Simina Grigoriu’s ‘Give Me A Voice’ employs subtle chords and rich electronic synth sparkles on loop, cultivating an atmosphere of headiness and warm nostalgia.

As she prepares to level up once again in 2023, resenting a sound palette that celebrates the sweet spot between techno’s foundational records and its modern sensibilities, which make her one of the most exciting and authentic artists on the scene.
