With a strong penchant for playing with melodies and atmospheric elements while seamlessly switching to the dark and intense style of techno, Katy Rise is a name that is making big moves in the scene. Dishing out techno in clubs since 2016 and making her official debut in 2020 quickly garnered her considerable international attention with her unique sonic taste.
Katy has been a guest on various radio shows around the world, as well as doing her own residency at radio station and nightclubs in Ukraine and Turkey. Following a run of successful releases on MIR Music over the past two years, hotly-tipped Ukrainian artist Katy Rise has now opened up her 2023 tally with the announcement of her stunning new ‘Light House’ EP. Out now exclusively via Beatport, the two-part EP marks Katy Rise’s eagerly anticipated debut outing on the esteemed Italian label, and comes complete with a show-stopping remix from iconic Greek producer Thodoris Triantafillou.
“‘Light House’ represents hope to be able to see that there is light, despite all the darkness in the world. There is light in each of us, we just need to find it. For me it took time but I finally found light in producing this track. I’m very happy to share my ‘Light House’ with all of you!” said Katy, speaking about her debut release.
The track has also received some delicious remix treatment from celebrated Greek producer Thodoris Triantafillou. Making his return to Natura Viva following a string of noteworthy releases, Thodoris steps up to the plate to deliver an epic, peak time rendition of Katy’s sublime original as he combines vintage synths and old school drum fills, comc;uding a stunning EP on the burgeoning imprint.
