Touted as ‘the people’s music movement,’ India’s solely crowdfunded multi-genre music festival Control ALT Delete is set to make an electrifying comeback in January 2024, marking its milestone thirteenth appearance and its first since 2020.
Chalked in for January 13 and 14, 2024, at Roaring Farm in Malad, Mumbai, over forty artists are set to grace this melange of music, culture, and community. As with all previous editions of Control ALT Delete (CAD), this showcase will also follow its staple ‘Pay What You Want’ entry ticket model while also raising funds to run the day-to-day operations of the festival. Sans the artist card announcement, the volunteer team of organizers has raised over 2,78,300 INR, which speaks to the legacy of this beloved music festival.
CAD’s genre-fluid music aspect will see everything from electronic, hip-hop, rock, metal, indie, alternative, electronica, etc., fanned across both days. It will unfurl five unique stages at Roaring Farm, highlighting the newest sounds, breakthrough genres, and the future of Indian alternative music and culture.
Plummeting through the line-up, attendees will revel in live music courtesy of rapper Saurabh Abhyankar aka 100RBH, singer-songwriter Aarya, India’s first modern baraat and brass collective Bombay Brass, singer/producer Gandhar, hip-hop artist Naezy, DJ/producer Watashi, rock-n-roll crew Komodo Jane, music producer Kiss Nuka, rapper Tracy De Sa and metal heads Inner Sanctum.

Rattling out the rest of the card – Aarifah, Wild Wild Women, Perp, St. Cyril, Tidals, Konflicts, Tyrell Dub Corp, Yashraj, Drum Aani Bass, Farhan Khan, Bharg, Bawari Basanti, Hashbass, The F16s, Raakshas, Bhayanak Maut, Third Sovereign, Marykali, Sabotage, Tejas, Saachi & The Situation, Yung Fly, Shia x Zero Chill, Shreyas & Vedang, Lil Malai, Tappori’s Paradise and more are locked in.
In addition to the music, CAD has collaborated with OffSet Education to deliver OffCourse, an apprenticeship program steered to mold the next generation of professionals such as sound engineers, light designers, stage technicians, managers, and musicians.
