🎾 It’s Back! Welcome to the Desert Smash! In its 18th year, the Desert Smash is the world’s most famous celebrity tennis event that brings together the biggest stars in professional tennis and from Hollywood, all for charity.
Desert Smash brings together Hollywood's biggest celebrities and the world’s biggest professional tennis players for a one-day extravaganza to benefit charity. The event is held prior to the 5th biggest tennis tournament in the world, the BNP Paribas Open. This year, reigning US Open Champion, Emma Raducanu will anchor the tennis lineup alongside former world No.1 Victoria Azarenka and rising Norwegian star and current world No.8 Casper Ruud and the most successful double duo of all time, The Bryan Brothers!
The afternoon event is buzzing with amazing desert energy and good vibes. With renowned DJs setting the tone with great music undertones, the festive atmosphere is complimented with a fun “Desert Smash Village” of brands showcasing their products, celebrities walking our Red Carpet and the margarita’s flowing at our fun bars!
The renowned Desert Smash Tennis Exhibition kicks off at 2PM with our celebrity emcee and chair umpires at the helm steering us through an array of competitive and fun, entertaining matches. On-court matches typically start with WTA & ATP pro player matches and finish with celebrity + pro players battling it out mic’d up and making us all laugh. Some surprises include on court special appearances, an incredible on-court live auction, fan interaction and fun interviews!

Imagine LA, this year’s event beneficiary, is a 501-c3 non-profit who is dedicated to ending family homelessness and poverty. Imagine LA equips families to maintain housing and thrive long-term through a unique combination of housing, clinical case management, economic mobility pathways and whole-family mentorship.
