Meraki pres: Scenic Sunday Sesh Vol. 3 ft. Zankee Gulati (The Soundgarden, Balance)

 

After a few weeks of well deserved holidays.. our next chapter at our summer residency Okahu is set to happen on Sunday, Jan 22, bringing you another international Australian star, a true music pioneer in the Sydney scene, mr. Zanke Gulati. 

A producer, DJ and a promoter, Zankee is undoubtely a musical phenomenon. 

His outstanding productions of original tracks and remix material has gotten Zankee to release on well renowned labels such as The Soundgarden and Balance, to name a few.

With performances at Australia's best music festivals and events such as "Babylon", "Subsonic", "Return To Rio", "S.A.S.H", "The Soundgarden", "Bootz 'N Catz", Zankee Gulati has found himself firmly in Australia's festival circuit spotlight alongside a stellar cast of international talent that includes Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Yotto, Guy J, Stan Kolev, Jeremy Olander, Ben Bohmer and so on. 

Known for his deep & melodic (with a touch of nostalgia) performances, we look forward to hosting Zankee Gulati for the very first time in New Zealand for an oustanding 3-hour-set.

Supported by a pristine local line up, starting with our favourite amiga Vic Lo on warm up duties.

If you have yet to see Vic performing, you'll want to get down nice and early for her. 
The prog queen has been perfecting her sound and she has been on fire lately.   

On closing duties will be our progressive talent DJ/Producer/Remixer Nila.

It has been a while since we last hosted Nila  and we are honoured to have him onboard for our first Meraki event of 2023 🙏

We lost count on the amount of labels he has been successfully released for (Selador, Balance, Vapour amongst many) and the amount of tracks he has been producing.
New Zealand is very lucky to have him!

 

Lastly, we will have a live art session by our unbelievably talented, dear friend and greatest Meraki supporter Aman, creating a custom made artwork for us using his "Koffee Stain" technique.
