What and who is Bósa?
When you think of world music and electronic music together, the blend comes across as nothing short of the extraordinary duo, Bósa. Both Stephan and Sunev’s goal within this project is simply to create a vibe in their music and when playing in live sessions. Inspired by world travels and Burning Man, the duo have a collective 20 years of attending the annual BM festival which are reflective through cultural atmospheres.
Stephan Jacobs, being a pioneer of west coast bass music, takes a very different approach with the music production behind Bósa, focusing on the ethnic inspired vibe. Quoted, “A big part of making this music is the people and parties that go along with it, they inspire me tremendously”.
Sunev, contributing heavily to the rhythm of Bósa, provides both live and on original productions. He has been a part of multiple high profile bands ultimately lending his talents to major world touring acts such as Beyond Race, Children ov Paradise and Protection. Best known on the Tokyo scene, playing hundreds of shows in the area is a normal routine. Together they have created a vibe all their own.

Originally hailing from Washington DC, SKETTI has been slaying the decks for over 25 years. Helping to birth the east coast underground house scene back in 1992, SKETTI has developed a loyal underground following over the years and has played along side many well known and respected globe trotting DJs. His style of music ranges from deep house, funk, soul, disco & down-tempo goodness to tech, minimal and experimental electronic music. Now residing in the birth place of House Music >> Chicago, SKETTI is more focused on creating original music, some of which has been picked up by labels such as Soulheat/Soulsweet Records, Belgium & Dust Trax, Chicago.

EASTCOASTGHOST (aka Dan Soda) // Oakland/SF
Deep/Funky/Groovy/Acid House
Back in 91 Dan began this journey of DJing on the East Coast, Washington DC to be exact and he has delivered his sounds via turntables/CDJs to dance floors nationwide ever since. He plays a mix of deep & groovy to jazz/soul/groovy and even into some acid, minimal and breaks to name a few styles he represents on the dancefloor. He is currently a reside at ROMPER ROOM in SF as well as the SRSLY!? Thursday night SF monthly. He is also the co-founder of Oakland's monthly SOUL FREQUENCY along with his long time friend, producer/DJ Gehno Sanchez Aviance aka ONE-A from Sequel Sounds Records.

BELLHOP // Terrakroma/Los Angeles
PROGRESSIVE PSYCHEDELIC TECHNO/DIRTY BASS/BREAKS
The Bellhop project was born from a need to share a positive and playful sound on the dance floor, one that inspires smiley, child-like glee stripped of ego through its use of silly vocals, folk inspired instrumentals and sexy melodic baselines. Bellhop is the solo project of Andrew Kroma, of Los Angeles based Terrakroma, known for their progressive psychedelic techno. Bellhop blends a progressive influenced writing style with the sounds of french jazz, retro vocals, music from the balkans, and circus-inspired melodies to the growing genre of electro-swing. The sound is inescapably light-hearted, up-lifting and bright, while bringing the right amount of seriousness and sexiness to the dance-floor. performances.

King Felix is a DJ/ Music Producer from Los Angeles CA. Felix has played in venues all around the World including Japan, Amsterdam, Thailand, and California and currently holds DJ residencies Fais Do-Do (Resident DJ) The Dirty Beetles, re:love, Love & Lust (Perish 69 Events), XTRNL, Take Back The Night, =U.S.=, Harmony Gathering, Club Space LA, Subculture, Lucid, and IgNight as well as former resident DJ at Purple 33 (LA), Empire Lounge (Tokyo), Route 66 (Thailand) and 916 (LA). Felix is also the curator of the Soularize Festival as well as Felix 'n Friends.
