Semibreve celebrated its 10th edition in 2020 with a COVID-adapted special format – in which stage shows gave way to commissioned sound pieces and filmed performances, and the physical experience moved online where audiences could interact with the festival remotely. Semibreve is grateful to be able to bring audiences back together in magical spaces across Braga, Portugal in 2021. Semibreve’s 11th edition will feature concerts, durational performances, installations, workshops, talks and AV pieces, including 7 world premiere performances that have been commissioned by the festival.

Semibreve’s 2021 edition will take place between 28th and 31st of October in several locations across the city of Braga. This year’s program explores the history of Semibreve by inviting artists and guests that have been part of the past 10 editions to present new works, collaborations and commissioned projects.
