Join us for an evening to benefit Just Futures Law Group, a group dedicated to tackling the injustices of the immigration, prison and surveillance state through the legal system in the US. Preceeding the event will be the debut of Law Office's piece Victory, an ensemble of bluetooth speakers and iphones synced together to recreate Arvo Pärt's Cantus In Memoriam Of Benjamin Britten with each speaker playing a different voice in this hauntingly beautiful piece. Law Office will be kicking things off with a raucous, raunchy, rowdy set of party tunes, dance moves and flashy guitar solos. Next will be the reunion of Dollar Tree (Hands On Reflector Band), a guitar and chamber ensemble playing dizzying, hypnotic string and band arrangements that spellbind. Pop Diary will follow with their dramatic, emotional reimagination of pop songs with a unique visual display, bringing us closer to catharsis only for DJ Funnypat to end the evening with his signature buoyant, eclectic DJ sets that blend world dance genres and internet sensationalism into one infectiously danceable, funny time.
