Due to legal age restrictions in Budapest, children under 14 are not permitted to enter without the supervision of a parent or adult.

From November 24 to December 7, fans will witness the world’s top 32 teams compete live across three thrilling stages at MTK Sportpark - an esports-ready venue in Budapest with a 2,000-seat capacity. This is where unforgettable storylines begin, underdog runs are born, and future champions take their first steps toward greatness. Only 8 teams will advance to the Playoffs.  



About Starladder Budapest Major 2025

This is THE showdown - the world’s best Counter-Strike 2 teams will battle for a $1.25 million prize pool, a legendary trophy, and their place in history.

The StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 unfolds across two iconic venues and sixteen thrilling days of competition. It all begins at MTK Sportpark - a brand-new, esports-ready venue in the heart of Budapest - where 32 of the world’s top CS2 teams will compete in Stages 1–3.

Only the top 8 will advance to the Playoffs at the spectacular MVM Dome (December 11–14), Hungary’s largest indoor arena. There, in front of 20,000 fans, legends will rise and one champion will be crowned.

FAQS

When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets for Starladder Budapest Major: Stage 1-3, will be going live on May 12, 17:00 CEST 

 

Will I have an assigned seat when I buy a ticket?

 All other ticket types are free seating within their respective areas.

Will tickets be available at the venue?

No, all the tickets will be available only online.

Can I bring food or drinks or other liquids to the venue?

No outside food or drinks allowed, but food courts will be available at the venues. Bottles, plastic bottles, sprays or any liquids are not allowed in the Hall due to MTK Sportpark policy.

Is there an age restriction?

There is no age restriction, however, children under the age of 14 are not allowed to enter without the supervision of a parent or adult.

Can I bring my bag or equipment into the arena?

According to MTK Sportpark, visitors are permitted to only take one small bag with them which does not exceed the size of 20cm x 20cm x 30cm or device for professional image or sound recording or transmission into the Hall.

When do the doors open?

The exact schedule, including door opening times, will be shared closer to the event. Stay tuned for updates!

Can I get a refund for my ticket?

No, but you can resell your ticket using Ticket Fairy’s built-in resell system.

Do I need to bring an ID?

Yes, the gate staff will have to cross-check the names on the ticket with the individual's ID.

Which teams are participating?

The teams will be selected based on the VRS ranking, as well as through closed regional qualifiers. The full list of participants will be announced closer to the event.

What language will be used during the show and game commentary?

The main language for the event and in-arena game commentary will be English.
