Mumbai-based music producer/composer Sahil Mishra returns with his latest single featuring lush guitar soundscape and vocals from Utkarsh K. Srivastava on ‘Joker.’
Bringing his signature guitar licks on board, Sahil Mishra’s newest offering highlights the vigor of his lyricism amidst its equally impactful composition. ‘Joker’ talks about ‘the interaction of a restless mind in today’s society with its spiritual self,’ further infused with the ambient, upfront, and natural sounds of the single.
‘Joker’ notes traces of pure rock, ambient, and psychedelic rock genres across its composition, filled with acoustic guitar pluckings as well as a quintessential rock guitar solo, prior to completing the track with its mighty chorus and an eventual, serene fade-out. “My upcoming song (Joker) was composed way back in 2020, and it took almost 3 years to complete and release it!” wrote Sahil on social media as he announced the release of his track.

Trained in Indian classical music and guitar, Sahil is influenced by the likes of Zakir Hussain, KK, Eddie Vedder, and John Frusciante, among others. He has rolled out ten original releases prior to ‘Joker.’ His hit track ‘Raena,’ released in 2020, has amassed over 60,000 views on YouTube and was also recognized at multiple international film festivals. ‘Dil Pareshan,’ ‘Udta Phiru,’ ‘Road Trippin,’ and ‘Paleeta’ are some of his most popular tracks.
