SUNANDBASS

Where: Sardinia, Italy

SUNANDBASS began as a beach party with friends and has now become a DnB festival enjoyed by many along Sardinia’s beautiful beaches. Attending SUNANDBASS can also serve as a holiday for visitors as you can explore the mountains and relax by the water. In addition to enjoying music from a variety of innovative international DJs on the roster, make connections with other drum & bass lovers like you, learn about the abundant culture of the location, and dance to the hypnotic sets.

The 2023 edition of SUNANDBASS was held from September 9 – 16 this year with Need For Mirrors, Pola & Bryson, BCee, Rit Locus, Mako, dBridge, Unglued, Doc Scott, and many more thrilling artists on the bill.

Subtropics Festival

Where: Base Backpackers Magnetic Island, Magnetic Island

Party on the sandy beaches, surrounded by palm trees and picturesque views at the Subtropics Festival. Subtropics is a three-day drum & bass, dub, UKG, hip hop, and reggae festival. It was held at the Base Backpackers Magnetic Island in Australia, which offers cabins, clean washrooms and showers, a bistro, kitchen, bar, and camping on-site. You can get the complete festival experience and listen to killer DnB artists set against the jaw-dropping background of the beach. Mampi Swift, Skool of Thought, Royalston, Conrad Subs, Kid Kenobi, and Sola, among others, were on the line-up this year.

Locus Tulum

When: March 13 – 17, 2024
Where: Tulum, Mexico

Brace yourself for five days of drum & bass experience in paradise at Locus Tulum 2024. After two years of successful festivals, Locus returns to Tulum for its 2024 edition from March 13 – 17. DJ/producer Ed Rush, Virus Recordings’ owner DJ/producer Optical, Break, Brazilian DJ Marky, Japanese DJ Makoto, and Visages have been announced as part of the phase one line-up. Kemal & Rob Data will also be returning to the Locus Tulum decks, along with award-winning DJ and radio producer DJ Flight, Machine, Hospital Records’ Degs, Amit, DnB producer duo Mob Tactics, singer-songwriter and DJ Charli Brix, and Polaris.

British DJ/producer KeenoQuadrant & Iris, Play Me Records co-founder Reid Speed, Viewer, MC Jakes, Dynamite MC, MC Lowqui, and Richter b2b Fallen are scheduled to appear at this festival next year, with phase two line-up yet to be announced. Once again, Locus offers the ravers a memorable experience on the white sandy beaches of Tulum. You will be mesmerized by the lush jungle and cenotes, and you can also visit the archaeological zones. NASS Festival

Where: Shepton Mallet, near Bristol, England

Hedex, Problem Central, Chase & Status, Disrupta, and Culture Shock are some of the DnB acts that descended on the NASS Festival stage this year. NASS Festival featured the biggest names in drum & bass on the mainstage, 20+hours of drum and bass music blaring through the speakers in a massive indoor venue, an open-air stage, iconic Bristol club Motion hosting The Warehouse stage, an immersive experience at The Sika Studios stage, and the Hangar stage, which saw English DJ/producer Nathan Dawe, Example, and Joel Corry as headliners.

Skate competitions and jams, street art, DJ and MC workshops, silent disco, BMX competitions and jams, a market where you can get vintage clothing, festival makeup, jewelry, and more can be a part of your experience. NASS Festival draws about 15,000 visitors.

Rampage Open Air 2024

When: July 5 – 7, 2024
Where: Lommel, Belgium

Touted as “The Biggest Drum & Bass and Dubstep Festival in the Universe,” Rampage leaves no stone unturned to leave attendees with an experience to remember for life. DJs and producers from far and wide head to Belgium for this musical blowout. UK producer Macky Gee, American DJ/producer Riot Ten, Kasra, Mexico City’s Jessica Audiffred, Fade Black, English DnB producer duo Delta Heavy, Midnight Tyrannosaurus, singer-songwriter, and producer Fox Stevenson were tapped for Rampage Open Air 2023.

Attendees enjoyed a live set from Belgian-born Canadian producer Apashe and a b2b set from Metrik and Grafix, while Swedish electronic musician Liquid Stranger and Hedex served as special guests. Rampage also roped in drum & bass and dubstep heavyweights for the festival, including Wilkinson, Mefjus, and Subtronics. The line-up for Rampage Open Air 2024 is yet to be announced. Made Festival

From established artists to emerging talents, the multi-genre festival Made offers three days of electrifying electronic music. UK DnB duo Hybrid Minds, Bristol MC Gardna, drum & bass musician Venjent, Shy FX, singer-songwriter and MC Eva Lazarus, and more, took the MADE Festival mainstage this year. Mozey, Frenetic, Pola & Bryson, award-winning drum & bass producers Serial Killaz, were among the killer DnB acts on the line-up. Bassfest Summer Festival 2024

When: July 20 – 21, 2024
Where: Sheffield, England

Bassfest Summer is a two-day festival to enjoy summer in the best way. With the festival bringing a truckload of the finest talents, you can’t help but groove to the music! This year, Bassfest Summer was held on July 29 and 30 with Sub Focus, Hedex, Andy C, Hybrid Minds, and more from the DnB realm as the headliners.

Kings of the Rollers, Disrupta, Turno, Charlie Tee, Problem Central, and Harriet Jaxxon were also on the roster. British MC and rapper Bru-C is set to headline Bassfest Summer 2024. Liquicity Festival 2024

When: July 19 – 21, 2024
Where: Amsterdam, The Netherlands

This week, Liquicity announced that Belgian drum & bass producer Netsky will be heading to the 2024 festival in Amsterdam. Scheduled to take place from July 19 – 21 next year, the Liquicity Festival will not only deliver high-energy performances from some of the finest DJ/producers on the planet but also other activities that attendees can immerse themselves in. This year, revelers also partook in chess battles!

Arts and craft stations were available at Liquicity Festival 2023, along with vintage arcade games. Some of the biggest names in drum & bass were joined by rising talents for the festival.
