New Zealand’s leading electronic dance music radio station, George FM, is set to host its Summer Tour! Sponsored by Odd Company, the George FM Summer Tour 2023/24 kicks off with a spectacular yacht party on Auckland Harbour. The tour will later head to Matakana, Raglan, Christchurch, and Queenstown, among other cities featuring a slew of electronic artists. George FM reels in a flock of their radio broadcasters and deck magicians for a showstopping summer tour across New Zealand. The inaugural show takes place on the luxurious three-floor Ocean Eagle Charters sea vessel on December 16 with multiple b2b sessions! Acts programmed include George Drive’s Sin and Brook, George FM Breakfast announcer and DJ General Lee, and George FM Nights host Beccie B. George FM staples DJ and vocalist Tizza, DJ Sam Warlow, Abeiku, and Corbin ‘Bax’ Baxter complete the artist card. The evening line-up shapes up with Sin b2b Brook Gibson, General Lee b2b Tizza, Beccie B b2b Abeiku, and BAX b2b Warlow.
The launch party at sea is only a teaser of the concerts in store, as George FM has confirmed multiple dates for their forthcoming George FM Summer Tour from December 2023 to February 2024. This tour is fanned out across Aotearoa, with over thirty artists hitting select stages in Matakana Village Pub in Matakana (December 28), The Yot Club in Raglan (January 3), Whitianga Hotel in Whitianga (January 4), Whangamata Sports Bar in Whangamata (January 6), The Buxton in Nelson (January 12), Finn’s Bistro and Beer Garden in Taupo (January 13), Hide Club in Christchurch (January 19), Waihi Beach Hotel in Waihi Beach (January 20), Regatta Bar And Eatery in Auckland (January 28), Water Bar Wanaka in Wanaka (February 2), and The World Bar & Restaurant, Seek and Yonder in Queenstown (February 3).
Iconic Australian producer duo SLUMBERJACK, UK’s Bushbaby, bass music producer QUIX, Auckland-based DnB duo Sly Chaos, and a plethora of local artists will be taking over the dias across select stops for the multi-city tour.
