Bio highlights:

Blasting onto the scene with his 2006 anthem ‘Turn Down The Lights’ Benny Page then released a slew of seminal ragga jungle cuts, as well as numerous well received productions across other areas of the dance music spectrum. Having cut his teeth on the Digital Soundboy imprint, he has gone on to collaborate with some of the most exciting producers and vocalists in the industry, from MC Spyda, Topcat and Sweetie Irie to Jessie J, Tinnie Tempah, Misha B, Arlisa & Nas, as well as taking his blazing brand of dubwise DnB to audiences across the globe. His remix collaboration with Congo Natty on "UK Allstars" remains an enduring modern classic of the UK underground.

Benny has been a fixture at Boomtown Festival for the best part of a decade and is a central figure in the Jungle Cakes collective of artists. The birth of his label Dubshotta in 2016, with a debut EP from Benny himself, saw the artist receive a whole lot of love from the likes of DJ Target and 1 Xtra, and he’s been ever-present on the airwaves ever since.

In 2021, his collab with Origin8a & Propa, 'Harmony', was a global hit with more than 300 plays on the UK's Radio 1.

Originally starting from humble beginnings, Dope Ammo (or The Drunken Masters as they were known back then), began their journey in the in mid 90’s as a collective of night club promoters who in 1998 switched their efforts to production – working with the likes of Micky Finn and Aphrodite. They released a string of successful drum and bass anthems like ‘Kill Bill’ and ‘Roots & Culture’ before parting ways in 2008. It was at that point that Coco (one of the original founding members) decided to continue to produce and DJ around the world under the solo guise of Dope Ammo.

In 2016 Coco was recruited by Sony Music to remix Alan Walkers ‘Faded,' and the collaborations really began to kick in, where he found himself working with jungle legends Serial Killaz and Benny Page. The last few years have really seen things take off for Dope Ammo – in October 2020 he became one of the only dnb artists to reach the top of the main overall Beatport chart with his remix of Baby D’s rave classic “Let Me Be Your Fantasy,” reaching #2 for many weeks. It also became the biggest selling dnb tune for a year with key support coming from the likes of Carl Cox, High Contrast, Charlie Hedges (Radio 1) and many more.

Since then the Dope Ammo remixes and key radio support have kept coming. Among these a remix of the official track for Olympic Games - (Sigma Ft Carla Marie & Beanie Man’s “Hope”) – for 3Beat, New State Music’s DM Slides “I Feel Love” (which was championed by Charlie Hedges on Radio 1) and his unofficial remix of Kygo/Whitney Houston “Higher Love” was smashed across Radio 1 and Kiss FM.
