The Valvoline D1NZ National Drifting Championship 2022

D1NZ KICKS OFF WITH A BANG! A DOUBLEHEADER EVENT TO GET THIS PARTY STARTED! 

The Valvoline D1NZ National Drifting Championship will return to Taupo after 5 years away for an epic doubleheader event encompassing Rounds 1 + 2 for the Pro drivers on April 30 - May 1 2022. The season opener gives massive chances to get a head start on the leaderboard across two days, it’s a high-pressure, high result opportunity up for grabs. 

With Multiple Ticketing options, hosting and event attractions the season still has some rather large announcements to come.

After the opening Doubleheader at Taupo International Motorsport Park, the series heads to Round 3 which will take place on the Hampton Downs National Circuit on May 21 - 22 2022. 

This is the first time in 6 years that D1 will compete on this circuit after utilising the Club Circuit since it was completed in 2017. Will the old dogs bring their experience of how they used to ace it or will it create a level playing field given things have changed over the years - We all can't wait to find out!

The D1NZ Roadshow follows on and returns to Manawatu for Round 4 on June 18 - 19 2022. The fast-flowing tarmac track sees high gears and high stakes as the last high-speed round of 2022 before we head back up the country for the final two custom concrete stadium rounds.
