After a hugely successful 2023, the revered singer-songwriter will now head to North America for a 7-city tour in April.
2023 was momentous for Ankur Tewari for a variety of reasons. Last year saw him launch Coke Studio Bharat and Tiger Baby Records, a label directed towards independent musicians in India. He also released his 8-track album, ‘Akela,’ during August 2023, along with supervising music for hit movies like ‘Gehraaiyan,’ and the Netflix musical ‘The Archies.’

After a gratifying 2023, having added multiple roles to his resume over the years, including poet, award-winning lyricist, entrepreneur, and now, music supervisor, Ankur will take to North America for his first-ever tour in the United States and Canada.
The celebrated musician will travel the continent with gigs in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Boston, Seattle, Vancouver and Toronto.
“This is the first time that I am taking my music to North America and I’m excited to play music from my album Akela to an audience that may just know me for my work on Bollywood films,” says Ankur in anticipation of the tour in April.
Ankur also most recently performed at the globally renowned SXSW Festival that took place on March 14, in Austin, Texas.
