THE BASICS

When is Paranormal Palace 2026?
Saturday, October 31, 2026 - Halloween night itself. Doors at 8:00 PM, event runs until 1:00 AM.
Where is it?
DoubleTree by Hilton Denver Tech Center, 7801 E Orchard Road, Greenwood Village, CO 80111. About 20 minutes from downtown Denver.
What makes 2026 different?
Halloween falls on a Saturday for the first time since 2020, and it will not happen again until 2037. Clocks also fall back at 2:00 AM that night, so the night runs an extra hour.
How old do I have to be?
21 and over, no exceptions. Colorado liquor law requires every guest to present a valid, government-issued 21+ photo ID at the door. No ID, no entry, regardless of ticket status.
What forms of ID do you accept?
Valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID: driver's license, state ID card, passport, or military ID. Photocopies, photos of your ID, and expired IDs will not be accepted.
Is parking available?
Yes, $12 on site parking is available but spots are limited.
How do I get there without driving?
Rideshare and Light Rail both serve the area. Please do not drink and drive. If you would rather not travel at all, book a room at the hotel.

TICKETS AND ENTRY

How do I get my ticket scanned at the door?
Have your Ticket Fairy confirmation ready on your phone, either in the email or the Ticket Fairy app. Screenshots work. We scan it at the entrance along with your ID.
Do ticket prices go up?
Yes. Tickets are sold in tiers and prices climb as each tier sells out. The earliest tier is always the lowest price of the season.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Only if the event has not sold out, and door prices are the highest of the season. This event has sold out in most of the past years. Buying ahead is strongly recommended.
Are tickets refundable?
No. All sales are final. The event happens rain or shine.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Yes, tickets can be transferred through Ticket Fairy. The person using the ticket must be 21+ with valid ID.
What is included with General Admission?
Entry to the full event: the Haunted Forest ballroom, the atrium and all its levels, every DJ, all performances, and entry into the costume contest. Bars are cash and card.
What is included with VIP?
Drinks included, express entrance, private bars, a private restroom, and access to four exclusive areas: the garden patio beside the atrium stage, the 4th floor balconies overlooking the dance floor, and a reserved section inside the Haunted Forest.
Are tables available?
Yes, reserved tables can be booked for groups. Availability is limited.

COSTUMES AND THE CONTEST

Do I have to wear a costume?
Yes. Costumes are mandatory. This is a costume party and the room reflects that - people plan their looks for months.
What is not allowed?
No weapons of any kind, real or replica. That includes prop guns, blades, bats, and anything that reads as a weapon at a distance. Nothing that obstructs ID verification at the door. No costumes that are hateful or harassing toward other guests.
Tell me about the costume contest.
$2,500 in cash and prizes. Register in person at the entrance to the Haunted Ballroom on the 2nd floor before 11:00 PM. Twenty finalists are selected and notified by text to take the stage at midnight. A panel of professional performers, makeup artists, and costume designers judges the field, and the crowd picks the top three.
Does it cost extra to enter the contest?
No. Entry is included with any ticket. You just have to register before 11:00 PM.
When should I arrive if I want to compete?
Early. Registration closes at 11:00 PM sharp and the stage competition runs at midnight.

HOTEL ROOMS

Can I stay at the hotel?
Yes, and it is the best way to do the night. The party takes over the hotel, so your room is a short walk from the dance floor and there is no ride home at 1:00 AM.
What are the balcony rooms?
Rooms on the atrium levels whose balconies overlook the main dance floor. Guests decorate them and there is a balcony decor contest. These sell out earliest every year.
Are balcony rooms still available?
Balcony rooms are sold out for 2026.
Can I still book a standard room?
Yes. Discounted rooms are available at the DoubleTree using our group rate. Booking links and the current rate are at denverhalloween.org. The group block releases before the event, after which rooms go to public rates if any are left.
Can I book more than one night?
Yes. The booking link defaults to Halloween night. Adjust the dates at checkout if you want to arrive Friday.

INSIDE THE EVENT

What is actually in there?
An 8,000 square foot Haunted Forest ballroom with full decor, lighting, stage shows, and bars. A multi-level atrium with walkways and overlooks built into a maze of entertainment. Interactive booths and photo ops throughout the hotel.
Who is playing?
DJ Neffertiti, DJ Golden Goggles, and DJ Rush, plus theatrical performances and dance troupes throughout the night.
Is there food?
Hotel food and beverage outlets are available. Check denverhalloween.org closer to the event for hours.
Is there a coat check?
Yes.
Can I bring a bag?
Small bags and purses are fine and subject to search. Leave large bags and backpacks at home or in your room.

CONDUCT AND SAFETY

What is the conduct policy?
Zero tolerance for harassment of any kind. Consent is key. A costume is not an invitation. Guests who harass others will be removed without refund
What if I need help during the event?
Find any staff member or security. They are identifiable throughout the venue and on every level of the atrium.
Is the venue accessible?
The hotel is ADA accessible with elevator access to all event levels. For specific accommodations, contact us ahead of time through denverhalloween.org.
