Sun Moon Offering is a new interdisciplinary work that brings together Laraaji’s pioneering approach to ambient music and expanded consciousness with NiN Studio’s sculptural approach to the body. Through live music, movement, wearable sculpture, and projected light, the work transforms the performance space into a dreamlike environment, one that moves between darkness and illumination, interiority and collective experience.
Presented as a singular, one-night experience, Sun Moon Offering invites audiences into a shared ritual of sound, movement, light, and transformation.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Brittany Maton (Nin)
Brittany Maton is an Australian artist and founder of Nin Studio, a project working through clothing, sculpture, wearable architecture, and ritual performance. Her work transforms textiles and the body into living sculptural forms that explore identity, embodiment, and transformation. This ritual practice merges costume, mask, and performance into a pathway for collective presence.
Laraaji
Laraaji is a visionary musician, composer, mystic, and laughter meditation practitioner whose work has expanded the possibilities of ambient and spiritual music for more than four decades. Educated in music theory and composition at Howard University, Laraaji emerged as a pioneering figure in ambient and new age music after a chance encounter with producer Brian Eno in the 70s. With a unique blend of celestial sounds, he has been hailed as a master of the hammered dulcimer and zither. Laraaji's music transcends conventional boundaries, seamlessly merging ambient textures with cosmic vibrations, creating an immersive and deeply introspective sonic journey.
