See how your ticket sales are going

In the first hours of an on-sale, the question is how many tickets have gone and what the event has earned. The Performance page shows both and refreshes while you watch, with a row for every day of the run and a breakdown for every ticket type. Each figure counts something slightly different, and a promoter who knows which is which can explain the totals to the team.

See how many tickets you have sold and what your event has earned, from the figures across the top of the Performance page to the day-by-day table and the breakdown for every ticket type.

Før du går i gang

  • You're an owner or an admin on this event, or you have a Stats, Limited Stats or promoter login for it. Each login sees a different amount of the page.
  • Your event has sold at least one ticket. Every tab stays reachable before that and shows its own empty state.
  • See the figures across the top

Open your event and select Performance. Tickets is how many have sold and Net revenue is what the event has earned, and the line under each carries a second figure: the tickets sitting in buyers' carts, and the revenue with referral rebates left in.

Bemærk: The figures refresh about every five seconds while the page is in front of you, and pause while the browser tab sits in the background. Nothing here sends an alert, so keep the page open when you need to watch a figure.

The figures across the top of the Performance page, with tickets sold, net revenue and the referral rebates owed
    Event, Performance.
  • See the sales day by day

Select Ticket Sales for one row per day, carrying Order Date, the tickets sold that day and Revenue. The chart above the table plots the same run, grouped By Day or By Week.

Bemærk: The running-total columns add each day to the ones before it, so the last row is your total so far. You can narrow the table and the chart together with Filter by date range.

The Ticket Sales tab, with the sales curve above a table of one row per day and its running totals
    Event, Performance, Ticket Sales.
  • See what each ticket type has sold

Select Sales by Type for one row per ticket type, with what has sold and what each has brought in. Use it to decide which release to open next.

Bemærk: A ticket type that has sold nothing still has a row, so you can see a release no buyer has taken.

Tell gross from net

Gross Revenue is the ticket price before sales tax and Revenue is what you keep of it under your fee agreement. Both already have refunds taken off.

Bemærk: On the usual agreement, where the buyer pays the booking fee on top, Revenue is the face value. Where you absorb the fee, or where we agreed other terms with you, it is the smaller figure those terms leave you.

Fai reads both figures and says which is which.

Find the report behind a figure

Each tab across the top is its own report: promo codes, promoters, add-ons, payment plans, box office, the waiting list and resale. Selecting the tab you are already on refreshes it.

Fai can pull any of those sections and compare them for you.

What each role sees here

You see the whole page on an owner, an admin or a Stats login, though Gross Revenue is hidden from a Stats login unless it is enabled for your account. A Limited Stats login gets the Ticket Sales report alone with no money columns, and a promoter sees only their own sales.

Fai is held to the same limits as the person she acts for, so she reports only what that login can see.

Spørgsmål du måske har

Why does Net revenue not match the Revenue column added up?
Net revenue takes referral rebates off, adds add-on and guest revenue, and leaves box office sales in their own card rather than in the total. The card's footer names whichever of those apply to your event, and the tooltip on it gives the combined figure including cash taken at the door.
Is the page live?
It refreshes about every five seconds while it is open in front of you, and stops refreshing while the browser tab is in the background. There are no sales alerts, so keep the page open when you need to catch a figure, or check back on a schedule of your own.
Why do Ticket Sales and Sales by Type disagree?
Ticket Sales leaves complimentary orders out and Sales by Type counts them, so where you issue guest, artist or crew tickets Sales by Type is the larger of the two and the gap between them is roughly what you have given away. Ticket Sales also counts tickets held but not yet paid for, which is why it can run ahead of the money, and refunded tickets drop out of both. On a cancelled event Ticket Sales counts the refunded orders instead, while Sales by Type still leaves them out, so the two are furthest apart there.
Can I compare this event with the last one here?
Not on this page. It reports one event at a time. Ask Fai to compare two events for you, or open the brand-level figures, which roll several events together.
Where did the Tickets in carts figure come from?
Those are tickets a buyer is holding in checkout right now, so they are neither sold nor available to another buyer. They appear as their own card on a multi-currency event, and the Tickets in Cart tab lists them.
